About the Artist

Hello there, my name is Julie. 

Style, style, style- the big question these days is "what is your style of photography?"

I think there is something to be said about posed and traditional photography. It's so timeless and classic that I don't think that it should be forgotten. However, the photos that turn out to be my personal favorites are the ones that I take right before I tell everyone to look at me and smile. I love to capture the laughter between siblings or how a baby lovingly looks at her mama. I love to notice life and the little things that often go unnoticed in the hustle and bustle. I strive to find the natural connection between people that just can't be staged, whether it be at a wedding or at a portrait session.

I believe that there is a place for all of this in photography- and that's what I try to achieve every time I'm behind my camera.
